Hoff & Mathisen meets drum/percussion legend Alex Acuna
This incredible versatile trio was founded in 2008. The legendary drummer/ percussionist Alex Acuna meets two of Norway’s leading jazz musicians, Jan Gunnar Hoff on keys and Per Mathisen on upright and electric bass. This high class trio made their CD debut in 2009 Jungle City. In 2011 Acuna invited the Norwegians over to do a DVD in Los Angeles live at Drumchannel with Terry Bozzio as their host. In 2012 the trio´s second album Barxeta was released. The AHM-trio has played gigs in Stockholm, Oslo, Lima (Peru), NYC, Rochester NY, Los Angeles, Zagreb.
