Per Mathisen and Jan Gunnar Hoff teamed up with latin drummer prominence Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, for a tour in Norway October 2017. Following the tour the trio travelled to Barxeta in Spain and the Losen Records studio. Compositions by Mathisen and Hoff were recorded and contributes to this album, BARXETA II, a sequel to the 2012 release BARXETA with Alex Acuna and Hoff, Mathisen.
