REVIEWS:

Musikkbloggen v/Trond Erikson: 6/6

Musica Jazz (Italy): “In perfect balance between classic touch and jazz sensibility, between chamber music and muffled swing. Everything is shelled out in fourteen episodes for an hour of meditation music, something that can put you back at peace with the world”.

Hi-Fi News, UK: Album of the Month (March 2023): “HOME is simply a gorgeous performance, mixing original compositions and standards such as Moon River og Summertime”.

Jazzrytmit, Finland: “Music that varies from beautifully sensual ambiance to raging and delicacies provided by improvisation. Steinway’s clean melodic sound and Hoff’s touches on black and white are straight nanna, Fine classical nuances wrap around the sacred essence of jazz. Music in a pleasant and delicious piano landscape combining several styles…solo piano playing with excellent sense. With emotion and great skill”.

Marc Phillips, Part Time Audiophile: “The big sound of his piano will sweep you away with its beauty and thunder and its intuition, but that’s juxtaposed with Hoff’s stunning and emotional standards such as Moon River and Summertime. That is the magic of Home, of course, that this is music to drift to, music that helps you dislodge the heaviness of the day”.
